About Half Moon Bay, Barrhaven

Located next to the scenic Jock River, Half Moon Bay is part of New Barrhaven. It’s located south of Jock River, west of Greenbank Road, north of Barnesdale Road, and east of Borrisokane Road. Built originally by Mattamy Homes, its major construction period happened after the year 2000.

Approximately 45% are single detached homes and the rest are mainly townhouses. This area offers mostly 4 or more bedrooms and 3-bedroom homes, with 85% of homes occupied by homeowners and 15% by renters.

The Chapman Mills marketplace is only a 5-minute drive and features restaurants and shopping. Well-known retailers include Walmart, Home Depot, Loblaws, HomeSense, Your Independent Grocer, LCBO, Indigo, Shoppers Drug Mart and many more. Across the Vimy Memorial Bridge is Moncion’s Independent Grocer and a strip mall of services and further south is the Village of Manotick for gourmet meals and specialty shopping.

Schools include St. Joseph Intermediate Secondary School, École Élémentaire Catholique Sainte Kateri, and Half Moon Public School.
