I moved from Scotland to Canada in 1997 and ran my own business for the first 5 years, a Scottish themed pub/restaurant in Sandy Hill.

I got my Real Estate License in 2000 and joined a Royal Lepage Brokerage in Carleton Place, where I also bought my first home, a Condo right on the Mississippi river at the waterfalls.

During my time in Carleton Place I learned a lot about country properties, including well and septic systems as well as the rules and regulations of the conservation authority. I helped people buy and sell homes in Carleton Place, Almonte, and went as far as Perth.

After just over 1 year I decided to move back to Ottawa and sold that condo for 20% more than I bought it!

I stayed with Royal Lepage for a year and then moved to Keller Williams, which was bought out by RE/MAX hallmark, which is where I’ve stayed since 2004.

At RE/MAX I am a managing Partner of a small team of agents who can help you buy or sell a home condo or income property.

I built my first website in 2001 and have built many others since then, I also take care of our current website as well as our YouTube and social media channels.

I now live in the East End of Ottawa near some great green space and trails where I walk my two dogs every day before work begins.
