Born and raised in Ottawa and a graduate of Carleton University with a major in Psychology, Claire Mills has enjoyed a busy career and developed a broad range of skills having worked in customer-facing and business operations roles.
Claire comes to us from Almonte’s Dairy Distillery, where she was Director of Marketing, Retail & Events. The Vodkow brand story captured her heart, and she remains a proud shareholder today.
Previously Claire spent 18 years in a variety of administrative and senior management roles at Colterman Marketing Group / Centre of Excellence for Public Sector Marketing. A stickler for detail, she supported a team of partners and associates, managed business operations and training and all aspects of a national conference (MARCOM), for 15 years.
Having lived in 2 apartments and 2 homes, bought and sold a 5-unit income property in Sandy Hill, and mastered the ins and outs of being a landlord, Claire says she appreciates the many ways the real estate sector has positively impacted her life, from the practical needs of the day-to-day to fulfilling her hopes and dreams of living on the Rideau River.
It’s with this new-found passion that she wants to venture behind the scenes to fully support the busy Agent in Ottawa RE/MAX team.
As an ex-ballroom dancer, competitor, teacher, and judge, her life is now fueled by fitness and positivity, her feline daughter, Daphne, and her university sweetheart of 27 years.
