Patrick Walchuk - REALTOR
A graduate of the University of Ottawa with a major in the Physical Education program and minors in psychology, sociology, and English. After graduation Patrick became a field sales representative for the Proctor and Gamble Company, in Ottawa and the area.
His next move took him to London, Ontario in an entry level management capacity with Club House Foods/McCormick Foods Co. He later accepted mid level sales management positions in Toronto.
The BIC Corporation is where Patrick landed next with responsibility for sales managers, representatives, internal staff, in Ontario and the Maritime Provinces. These three major consumer packaged goods companies help to shape Patrick’s understanding and implementation of excellent customer service, accountability, communication skills, and a value added proposition to sales programs.
This background was key to launching a successful real estate career upon his return to Ottawa in 1989. He became a licensed Realtor in May 1990. Patrick represents both buyers and sellers for freehold and condominium properties. He also specializes helping investors with multi unit residential properties.
This is a niche market that takes experience, specific educational courses, and patience. If you need to know about “capitalization rates” or “operating expense ratios”, then give him a call. Finally he says, “of any career path I have ever gone down, any job I’ve taken on, being in real estate is the only occupation I’ve had a passion for. I love my job.”
