Fisher Heights, Cityview and Skyline usually see about 40 home sales per year, we did see only 21 sell in 2011 as the low and 59 sell back in 2000 as the high. In the chart above, you can see that this area has had 5 years since 2000 where home prices decreased, but the number of sales is small enough, that a few million dollar sales can easily cause this.

Fisher Heights is primarily a residential neighbourhood located south of Baseline Rd. West of Fisher Ave, East of Farlane Boulevard and North of Meadowlands Dr. Close to many of amenities located on Baseline Road like Walmart and Food Basics grocery store. This neighbourhood is also home to the Ottawa Islamic School on Coral Avenue and is a short drive or bus ride away from Carleton University. Recreation nearby includes Fisher Heights Park, Vincent Massey Park, the Rideau canoe club and Mooney’s Bay.

Skyline is a small neighbourhood is located north of Meadowlands Drive, West of Merivale Road, East of Fisher Avenue and South of Baseline Rd. Mostly residential homes with a 12-storey high-rise condominium and townhomes built by Minto. This community is close to the Emerald Plaza and the Meadowlands Mall that features a public library, Staples, PetSmart and Movati Athletic fitness club.

CityView, With a population of approximately 3,300 City View is a smaller residential neighbourhood located between St. Claire Gardens and Skyline. It is a short drive or bus ride to Algonquin and College Square. Residents have access to a number of amenities located on Baseline Rd, Merivale Rd. There is no shortage of green space with a number of parks such as St. Nicholas Park, Starwood Park, City View Park and Doug Frobel Park in and around the neighbourhood.
