About Beaverbrook, Kanata

Beaverbrook is located in the northern ward of Kanata; Knudson Drive to the east, March Road to the west and north of Highway 417. There's a total population of about 5,182 residents at 2011 Census.

Beaverbrook is Kanata's oldest residential neighbourhood, founded by builder Bill Teron, considered the "Father of Kanata" who bought 3,000 acres of land outside the Greenbelt and set about building the model Garden community of Kanata in the 1960s. Since that time, other builders who contributed to Kanata are Richcraft, Holitzner and Urbandale.

This area is very close to the Kanata Golf & Country Club in neighbouring Kanata Lakes and various parks and green spaces. The unique housing and mature trees on oversized lots continues to make Beaverbrook one of Kanata's most sought-after neighbourhoods.
