About Chatelaine Village
Chatelaine Village is south of the Ottawa River with its woods and walking paths, north of the Queensway, west of Trim Road and east of Champlain Street. Residents enjoy stunning views across the Ottawa River to neighbouring Quebec.
The north end of this neighbourhood is right on the Ottawa River at Petrie Island with a great Sandy Beach and Marina. Brigil is currently building Condo Towers in this area called Petrie's Landing, with Phase 1 now completed and Tower 3 for possession in 2023, and Petrie's Landing II, now 85% rented; it's "hotel living at home." This is the most northern neighbourhood in Orleans, with very easy access to the Queensway west to Shenkman Arts Centre, Place d'Orleans and onward to Ottawa. Jeanne D'Arc Boulevard runs right through the middle to access the rest of Orleans.
After a 10-month delay owing to the pandemic, residents can now look forward to completion of the eastern section of the Confederation O-Train Line from Blair Station to Trim Road which is on track to be finished in 2024.
