Located North of Carling Avenue, South of the Ottawa River & West of Sir John A MacDonald Parkway this community is home to approximately 8,300 residents. There is a mix of residential homes and condos in this neighbourhood. Public transit is available with 3 bus hubs: Pinecrest, Queensway and Lincoln Fields. There is no shortage of shopping with Bayshore, Lincoln Fields and Carlingwood mall and IKEA all within close vicinity of this neighbourhood.

Fairfield Heights is a sub-neighbourhood in Britannia located west of Bayshore Drive, east of Firwood Crescent and south of Carling Avenue. Recreation includes the Britannia Yacht Club, Britannia Beach and Park where the Ottawa City Folk fest is held as well as the Tennis Centre for West Ottawa.Shopping, restaurants and recreation are all within a short distance of this neighbourhood with Cineplex Cinemas and Bayshore mall close by.

Britannia Heights is another sub-neighbourhood within Britannia, located between Carling Avenue and the Ottawa River Parkway and east of Britannia Park. Lincoln Field Shopping center is a 5 minute drive away. This area is easily accessible by bus with the 85 and 97 routes passing through. Britannia and Lincoln Heights Recreation includes the Britannia Yacht Club, Britannia Beach and Park where the Ottawa City Folk fest is held as well as the Tennis Centre for West Ottawa. There are 3 elementary schools: D. Roy D. Roy Kennedy Public Vincent Massey Public Woodroffe Public There is one High-school in the area, Woodroffe High-school and it’s a short commute to Algonquin College.
