About Findlay Creek, a neighbourhood in South Ottawa

As you travel south and cross Hunt Club Road, you are leaving the Greenbelt. First, you’ll reach a little cluster of homes in the Kemp Park neighbourhood. Continue south and you’ll reach Leitrim and finally Findlay Creek, after about a 15-minute drive.

Findlay Creek is bordered by Leitrim Road to the north, Rideau Road to the south, just east of Bank Street to the east and Albion Road to the west.

According to a December 3, 2021 CBC News article “New home construction in Ottawa hits record high”, newer suburbs outside of the Greenbelt such as Findlay Creek “are growing especially quickly”. In fact, according to the census the population has doubled between 2011 and 2016 from 4,486 to 8,865.
