About Elmvale Acres

Ottawa's south-central Elmvale Acres is an established and well sought-after community that attracts many new and seasoned home buyers. Minutes from downtown it's located inside the “Greenbelt” tucked into the south east corner of the area. Its boundary lines are east of Lynda Lane Park, west of St. Laurent Boulevard and Russell Road, north of Walkley Road, south of Smyth Road. The neighbourhood is home to several major employers, including the Ottawa Hospital (General and Riverside campuses), the Childrens' Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO), the Conference Board of Canada and Canadian Blood Services. Other businesses in the area's eastern edge are are in close proximity. 

Schools servicing Elmvale Acres include: Arch Street Public School (JK-6), Vincent Massey (grades 7-8), Hillcrest High (grades 9-12), McMaster Catholic (JK-6), Immaculata and St. Patrick Intermediate Schools, High and St. Patrick High Schools, and Canterbury High, well-known for its audition-only Arts Program.
