About Crystal Beach and Bay

These are primarily residential areas located east of Moodie Drive, south of the Ottawa River, and northwest of Carling Avenue/Corkstown Road, with a population of approximately 2,400. Recreation includes Andrew Haydon Park, Maki Park, Wesley Clover Park including the Ian Miller School of Horsemanship, Corkstown Parks, Corkstown Outdoor pool and the Corkstown soccer field. Additionally the Corkstown Campground also acts as a drive-in light show over the Christmas holidays. Approximately 15 minutes from downtown Ottawa via car and 5 minutes from Kanata.

Crystal Beach has become one of the most desired home buyer locations with its proximity to the Ottawa River, Dick Bell Park's Nepean Sailing Club and Andrew Haydon Park as well as the Britannia Yacht Club. Other desirable features are the community's reduced traffic flow and quick access to Highway 417.
