About Carleton Square

Carleton Square is a sub-neighbourhood of Carleton Heights south of Fisher Avenue, north of Meadowlands Drive, south of Dynes Road and west of Claymor Avenue. The population at Canada 2011 Census was 719, with a younger demographic.

Residents here are in a handy, central location within walking distance to Carleton University, Mooney's Bay and Hog's Back Park and Falls.

Schools in this neighbourhood include St. Pius X High School and Carleton Heights Public School.

These neighbourhoods saw more sales in the early 2000s with over 100 sales in 2001. But, since 2007 we've seen roughly 50 or 60 sales. We also saw some really strong years for house prices between 2000 and 2004, with double digit increases for 4 years in a row. After some sharp drops in the average price in 2017 and 2018, prices have been recovering over the last few years to sit at $339,231 in 2021.
