About Avalon, a neighbourhood in Orleans
Avalon includes Notting Gate, Notting Hill, Springridge and Summerside neighbourhoods.
Historically predominantly francophone, Avalon is a newer development in Orleans just west of Beacon Hill. Avalon offers close access to all the amenities found in the greater Orleans areas like YMCA, Place d’Orleans Shopping Centre, as well as easy access to Highway 417. Orleans served as a police village from 1922 to 1974 where it was known as St. Joseph d’Orleans.
You can find a lot of newer homes as well as those under construction and in all price ranges to suit your budget. There are many types of homes with a variety of builders to choose from. Large single family detached homes, you'll also find freehold townhomes, stacked condo terrace homes and new apartment buildings.
