Kim grew up in Perth, ON before relocating to Ottawa to attend the University of Ottawa in 2003. While at university, she started a part time job as a receptionist in a real estate office, beginning her real estate career. After graduating with a Bachelor of Social Sciences, she began work as a property manager, responsible for a dozen low-rise buildings in Ottawa’s historic Centretown neighbourhood. To this day, she keeps up to date with tenancy issues and legislation that affects tenants and landlords alike.
In 2010, Kim relocated to Montreal to work with a boutique brokerage in Westmount QC, managing their front office and marketing, and gaining a greater appreciation for all facets of the real estate business. She later returned to Ottawa and worked with multiple brokerages and teams, before joining Keller Williams Ottawa (now RE/MAX Hallmark) in 2014. Kim holds her Broker license, and multiple designations including Certified Negotiation Expert, Seller Representation Specialist, Senior Real Estate Specialist, and Military Relocation Professional.
Over the course of her career, Kim has developed a focus on rural and recreational real estate. From cozy small town living, to remote camps and land, to cottages on the water, she’s done it all! Kim especially loves working with buyers who want to experience country living for the first time, and teaching them all of her tips and tricks to navigate this new experience!
In her spare time, Kim sits on the board of several charities (her favourite causes are mental health care and affordable housing), and enjoys growing her own vegetables, woodworking, hiking in the forest, and renovating her 1950’s bungalow.
