Are Ottawa Single Family Homes just Too Expensive...?
Just read CMHC's new Housing Now Report for Ottawa Ontario. Ottawa recorded a greater proportion of New Home Starts for Multiple-Family Dwellings, due to the high prices for Single Family Homes.
Areas that saw the most New Home Starts were :
1. Goulbourn +73% increase over last year
2. Gloucester +40%
3. Ottawa +35%
4. Nepean +16%
